ABOUT WEC
Founded in 1984 by Kevin Wardlaw, Wardlaw Equipment Consultants (WEC) was born from his extensive experience in the commercial laundry industry. He began his career in 1982 with a national manufacturer that served the laundry, uniform-dust control, and on-premise laundry sectors. During his time as Vice President of Sales at his previous company, Wardlaw identified a significant opportunity for market expansion by diversifying into the dry cleaning industry. This insight prompted him to establish WEC on October 1, 1984, with the goal of tapping into a broader market beyond just laundry services.
Since its inception, WEC has evolved into a comprehensive provider of both new and used laundry and dry cleaning equipment. The company also offers consulting services that encompass all aspects of laundry and dry cleaning operations, including equipment selection and procurement, new plant design and strategy development, customer service enhancement, and employee-employer relations. Today, WEC serves a diverse clientele across both national and international markets, delivering tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
